Dear Family Members and Friends:

Welcome to our GraceWay Family Workshop! We are pleased that you are committed to active participation in the recovery process of your loved one. You are in a safe place staffed by those who understand and are willing to share their experience, strength and hope with you by means of our mission.

GraceWay is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit, faith-based, long-term substance abuse treatment community for women. GraceWay provides a spiritual home environment that empowers residents to become productive members of their families and society through intensive application of the
Twelve-Step methodology.

The Essence of GraceWay’s program is the understanding that an alcoholic/addict’s best, if NOT ONLY hope for long-term sobriety is through recognizing and directing her life toward a Higher Power.

The Family Workshop is designed to equip you with:

• Peace of mind
• Loving support and an opportunity to ask questions
• State of the art education about the bio/psycho/social disease of addiction
• A chance to meet and discuss recovery issues with trained GraceWay staff
• Personal relationships with other GraceWay “families”
• An enhanced understanding of the dynamics of family member’s roles in recovery
• Improved communication skills and techniques for the family
• Assistance with After care plans
• Knowledge of 12 Step support group methodology and the importance of working your own recovery plan?
