GraceWay is radically different from “clinical treatment centers” that often offer chemical solutions for the spiritual malady of addiction.

Our non-profit long-term, sober-living residential recovery community provides women with the opportunity to maintain sobriety as they pursue their ongoing education, employment, family responsibilities, dreams and joy-filled lives.

GraceWay Recovery Residence is located at 412 West Tift Avenue in the heart of downtown Albany, in Southwest Georgia.

GraceWay is honored to provide world class addiction treatment at a resonable cost. We are proud of an eighty percent recovery success rate for women who complete our long-term program. Women who self-exit are not factored in our success calculation.

Our stately blue Victorian home is listed on the Register of Historic Properties. It is within walking distance of hospitals, legal offices, churches, the public library, parks, the Riverfront, employment opportunities and public transportation.

Payment Info: GraceWay does not accept private insurance, (although some families have personally submitted their insurance carrier for reimbursement) Medicaid or Medicare. All new residents pay a $250.00 non-refundable admission fee and deposit $200.00 personal monies into their own resident bank account for personal needs.

Monthly Cost - Month 1 – 4 :

· Georgia Residents
Resident’s fee for residential program is twenty six hundred and fifty dollars ($2,650.00) per month.

· Out – of – State Residents
Resident’s fee for our residential program is thirty two hundred dollars ($3,200.00) per month.

Month 5 +
Fees are reduced in month five so as to encourage residents to become financially responsible. In this stage, residents are employed and are practicing accountability for their own recovery.

GraceWay’s Sober Living Apartments – “The Way” are located

at 416 West Tift Avenue, Albany, GA .

We provide beautiful, secure, affordable, fully -furnished sober living apartments adjacent to our recovery residence. The Way Apartments eliminate barriers to long-term sobriety, by offering women transitional housing in these sober living apartments.

These 9 two-bedroom apartments offer an on-site laundry, cable TV access, private parking and convenient access to outside Twelve Step meetings, churches, public transportation, the main branch of Albany’s public library, Darton College, Albany State University and Albany Technical College.

“The Way” Apartments exist to provide a safe, sober living environment for recovering women seeking affordable housing as they practice long-term recovery, work and further their education. Residents may be teamed up with a recovering roommate while maintaining close ties to GraceWay recovery community for After Care, and the Albany community for AA meetings, etc. All apartment residents must abide by and live out the spiritual principles of the 12 Steps of AA.
